Review - Canmake Shimmer Jelly Eyes in #4 Frozen Mint

Hello, folks! :D
Meet me again in my 2nd post by the day.

I have a lot of free time this week since my assignments are done and the house 3rd and 4th floor is being renovated so I stuck in my room, from morning till now. Don't worry I still eat and bath and all. Tee-hee.

Into the topic.
I'd wanted this eyeshadow from a looonnggg time back then. Because I really want a PINK gel/cream eyeshadow and the color is perfect.
When I'm in Japan I searched all around and I found it. In Yamato-Saidaiji Station, when we're on our way from Osaka to Ise. My sis said if it's available here, it MUST be available too in Tokyo. Make sense. So I didn't buy it.
Guess what? I WAS TOTALLY WRONG. The product is not sold in any Canmake stand I saw. I searched and searched and I found out that it's already DISCONTINUED.
Damn it Canmake, why don't you update your website and left me hanging here!
So fine, I left Japan and went back to Singapore. With hope that I will find one. In the end, I found it! But it's the 2nd shade that I wanted. But who cares, I grab it and pay.
Until now I still carving for pink gel/cream eyeshadow fyi. *sigh* Once I get it I'll switch to brown-colored contact lenses. Really.

About Canmake itself, the actual name is Canmake Tokyo. Which aimed for school girls (i read it somewhere) since its low-priced products.

So here's the thing! It's quite small or quite big? Very simple packaging, very unique for an eyeshadow.























This is the applicator or you can say the tip?


Look how unique it is for a jelly eyeshadow?! I'm lovin' it. It's looks exactly like lipgloss's tip, don't you think?




It's also very soft so it won't hurt your eyelid when you apply it.














The swatches. Unorderly applied and blended.

Seriously it's very pigmented. just my camera can't catch it by the lightning ;_;

And also, it claims to be waterproof. Yes. waterproof. Let's see, shall we?


Surprisingly, it doesn't worn off. But as you wipe it, even with wet hand, it comes off. Oh well, whaddya expect from jelly eyeshadow?? xD
I was wrong. I once used this for some hang out, no sweating, and I didn't remove them when I took bath and wash my face, and the shimmers stayed, even that the color came completely off.. Not that I didn't clean them properly! But the shimmers in the eyeshadow can't worn off easily. So I need make-up remover for it.. .__.


Conclusion:
Packaging. 2.5 stars. Very ordinary and average, despite it's an eyeshadow.
Color. 4 stars. Very pigmented but not the color I want unfortunately. If you apply it too thin it looks like you've just been hit.
Applicator. 5 stars. Veeerrrrryyy soft. Love it.
Staying power. 3 stars. It's waterproof but 0 on smudgeproof. But the shimmer stays hardly without proper removal
Price. 2.5 stars. Since it's in Singapore it's expensive. If I buy it from Japan I'll rate 5 stars. Seriously!

My Wishlist ver. 2!

It's quite a long time for being away.. Adapting with college life! So yeah I'm here to update my wishlist after a huge haul here~

So first, starts with the basic. Skincares.
1. Skinfood Black Sugar Mask
2. Skinfood Peach Sake Serum
3. Hada Labo moisturizer (or they call it moisturizing milk, I guess) I got this.
4. Etude House Ice Shot Spray

Move on to the next part. Make ups.
1. Majolica Majorca Cream de Cheek Check!
2. Skinfood Peach Sake Pore BB or Good Afternoon Peach and Green Tea BB
3. KATE Super Sharp Liner Check!
4. Majolica Majorca Pressed Pore Cover or Pore Cover Powder Done.
5. Any waterproof liquid liner in purple and blue I end up buying the color pencil liner from KATE.
6. Kiss Me Heroine Mascara any type. Nevermind this. xD
7. Canmake Shimmer Jelly Eyes Got this but not the shade I wanted to...

Up the following. Fashions.
1. PLATFORM SHOES. Quite a lot of type, like, rocking horse shoes, creepers, etc. I dunno anymore. Lol. I got 2 from Japan but I'm a lover so they're still on the list! >w<
2. Half transparent stockings with some printed pattern or images (I don't really know the name :p) It's tattoo tights. I bought like, 5? So I guess those are enough for now.
3. Modern kimono. Fyi, the skirt is short and it's like ballet tutu, multiple layers, like that I guess. Nevermind this. It's too mainstream. LOL!
4. Either gothic shoes, gothic necklace, or gothic hairband. Got a tattoo necklace from WEGO Harajuku.
5. Canmake Point Curler I bought Koji Accent Curler because the Canmake's not available and Koji's look more 'proper' :p
6. Cute jacket. My current jacket has a stain and stitches on the left arm side. Thanks to the stain, my maid tried to bleach it and wash it so hard that it ripped and stitched and the stain stay still. Gosh.

Last but not least! Miscellaneous.
1. Hair sunspray! Why is it so hard to get! Geez, like, this is a tropical country! I see none selling sun spray for hair. Ridiculous! Got this but now I realize I don't really need it and OMG they run out so fast that I want to save it up.
2. Ballet shoes. Usual ballet shoes and toe shoes! Mine are too small because I stop attending ballet class when I was in 5th grade. I reaaallllyyyy wanna continue self-studying... :(
3. New contact lenses and glasses. Because my prescription is so high, the right is -4.25 while the left is -3.25 I need stock in case the one I'm currently using is broken, or any kind of accident you can think ._. I want to try another contact lenses and I haven't got myself a new pair of glasses because I'm way toooooooo lazy :P

Japan-Singapore Beauty Haul (with some life story...)

Hello folks! :D

How are you these days?! I finally find some time to deal with my laptop >w<
As you readers know, I just got back from Singapore-Japan-Singapore trip last Sunday night and right in the morning I enter the very first day of my university life. I'd only went there twice for registration! Without knowing where my class will be. Lucky that I have this very great, friendly and bear-my-dependentness friend (If you wanna check him out find him on Twitter: @Jechtly) who's willing to show me where the classes are. Anyhow it's only day 4 but I'm feeling so frustrated dunno why. Maybe because I'm not used to the bus here (which is very crowded and really out of control) after having time with those great trains and MRT and all in Japan and Singapore. -_____-  I really need help in transport afterall. I just got home tonight and I need to attend my first day of college with totally zero knowledge about my college. Lol.

I skipped the orientation since, duh, i'm still in Japan!

Quick Flash Japan Report!

Hello folks! :D

Sorry for a long hiatus period and I will be hiatus again till I get back to Jakarta... :(

I'm posting this because I just reach my last Japan trip destination: Tokyo. And soon after settled down in my sister's friend's house we went to roppongi and went into they-called Donkey Store.

It's a 6-floored building with different kind of products each floor. And guess what, the first floor is cosmetics! No need to say, I went wild. But not that wild that I bought everything I want, lol. My sis unexpectably grab quite somethings too but only by KATE products.

We bought mostly food and cosmetics..
End up like *k yen to paid! (it's below 4k anyhow)

I'll post A LOT as soon as I got back and also reviews! Wait for me, folks! :D

Review - Kanebo KATE Crystallise Quartz in BR-2

Back again for reviews!
I actually done with the on-eyes picture weeks ago but I haven't photo the swatches and the packaging itself so I just finished it today!

KATE eye shadow has attracted me from the first time I knew it.
The first is because it's very pigmented and beautiful in packaging compared to my mom's old-i-dunno-what-the brand eyeshadow palette. The one I tried first is the diamond cut eyes one.
The second is because the CM model was Mika Nakashima! omg I love her songs and her looks >w<
The CM soundtracks were her songs too and I'm very berry sold to it. Lol.

Unfortunately now the model has changed, twice. I like the current model though. Her eyes really caught me. >_<

That's how it looks like. When closed, of course.
I really love how it really shows its name! Crytallised Quartz. KATE always wins when it comes to gorgeous packaging. <3






When you open it,

Ta-daa~!! Uhm, not that good already :x
I bought this in May a year ago. Of course it's used! xD
You see, it comes with a brush too. All the KATE's eye shadow palettes I have comes with a brush anyway. The brush is so KATE somehow after times used it may have some fall out of the sponge.....












Now it's time for the colors!


You see, it contains 3 eye shadows and 1 glitter.
B for the whole eyelid, C for the fold of the eyelid, and D for above the lash line. (Note: this is just my own words. Not the translation but I bet you all know what the instruction picture means)
I bought this in Hong Kong's Watson. That's why it's in Chinese. I followed my sister for her working trip  ^_^


The swatches~

A is really just silvery glitters.
B I think is more like a base. It has shimmers.
C is usual brown with a little shimmers
D is usual dark brown with a little shimmers.












On-eye results~

 (Ya I know I know my eye's fold line is not connected T_T)
Anyhow my eyes were kinda swollen when I take these pictures... Pardon me.
The middle and bottom left is without the glitter.
The rest is with the glitter.
 If you want to use it for daily make up you better don't use the glitter.
But if you want to use it for party YES use the glitter. I used it under the eye before I know it was meant to be over the eyelid! LOL. But of course it's still beautiful!

Conclusion:
Design. As gorgeous as always. 5 stars.
Colors. 5 stars. Very pigmented!
Price? No doubt! Totally worth it as you can use it daily and party. 5 stars~
The applicator, 3 stars. It may fall out like dirts...

So what do you think??

By the way, I'll be going to Singapore and Japan, with transit via Kuala Lumpur. I'll be going for 3 weeks!
Rocks, right? yea I know! I'm so excited. The main journey is Japan though. I'll be in Singapore only for like 5 days.
